LMASE DEI 4-Week Essential/Advanced Intensive: The Next Level DEI For Legal Marketers

Recorded April 27, 2022

Join the Southeast Region for a series that explores the intersection between legal marketing and law firm diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

The Intensive focuses on TANGIBLE, ACTIONABLE things a marketer can do, use, or impact related to DEI. Each week of the 4-week series will focus on a different topic area: Rankings, Certifications and Client Reporting; Communications; Business Development; and Events. Each session will provide an essential skill offering on that topic that is directly followed by an advanced skill perspective on the same topic. Participants can attend one or both skill level offerings by topic or attend the entire series.

Week 1 - April 27th

Rankings, Certifications and Client Reporting

The collection of diversity data has become a common request from clients, media publications and industry DEI certification bodies. Legal marketers are often involved in the process, whether they are directly tasked to work with internal sources to gather information, are the arbiters of when diversity data should be given, or interpreting the numbers to clients who want to see progress. Navigating the increasing requests (in particular, the client-driven requests) is of increasing importance in the legal marketer’s role.

Essential (Hour 1): Intro to DEI Rankings and Certifications: What You Must Know

From Mansfield Certification, Chambers diversity data and growing client requests, learn about the major requestors of DEI data and what it all means.

Advanced (Hour 2): Leveraging Your Rankings and Certifications to Increase Client Outreach and Engagement
